Overnight Boarding

"Boarding your pet with the safety and

security of Veterinary Supervision"

At Ashton Animal Clinic, our focus is obtaining the finest quality care for your pet. We believe that leaving your pet while you travel should not be stressful for either of you. Your beloved pets are part of your family therefore we treat them like part of ours. You will find a welcoming, friendly knowledgeable staff, positive atmosphere, and comfortable environment for you and your pets. Feel confident in knowing that while you are away your pet is safe and comfortable with veterinarian supervised boarding. We offer luxury pet boarding with piped in music, Astroturf covered play area, central air conditioning, comfortable bedding, and an insect free environment.

For our Canine Guests:

Our dog kennels are spacious, clean, and comfortable for your pet’s enjoyment. Our canine guests enjoy one on one staff attention, clean comfy bedding changed daily, music, dental treats every afternoon, and a fenced in area for socialization and off leash potty time. Your pampered pet will also benefit from our separate rooms, so that not too many canine guests are in the same area. This provides for a quieter and more comfortable experience for your pet’s care.

For our Feline Guests:

Our feline guests enjoy luxurious kitty condos with the benefits of a shelf to perch on, an outside view of birds and bird-feeders, a separate area for their litter box and bedding, and one on one staff time. We change their bedding daily. The cat condos are roomy which can accommodate multi cat households by connecting multiple cat condos for their social benefit. Our felines relax in their own quiet private area away from our canine guests.

Our goal is to provide your pet with a safe, clean, and positive experience while you are away. Our modern facility supports a passionate veterinarian who supervises boarding, and a caring staff that will give you the peace of mind to enjoy your time away.

Requirements for Boarding:

For the health and safety of your pet we require all vaccinations to be up to date according to our vaccination schedule.

Requirement: A licensed veterinarian must have administered all vaccines. All vaccines must have been done within the past year from the day your pet will be picked up. The vaccination against kennel cough (Bordetella) must have been administered within the past six months. We do accept 3-year Rabies vaccines.

Dogs:
Rabies (1 or 3 year); Distemper, Parvo, Corona (DPC); Bordetella (Kennel Cough, Every 6 months); Heartworm check, and fecal check.

Cats:
Rabies, Feline Distemper (FVRCP); Feline Leukemia (Felv); Feline Bordetella (Every 6 months); and fecal check.

If your pet is due for any vaccinations during their stay we will be happy to take care of them for you.

Required Flea and Tick Preventative:
All pets must be currently on Frontline or Advantix. If your pet is not on one of these products we will be happy to supply and administer on admission a one-month dose of frontline.

Special Needs Guests: We offer hospitalized boarding for our physically challenged or geriatric pets with medical needs.

Please take a moment to look at our boarding admission form which will further your information on policies and fees. Part of our boarding experience includes that all guests on the day of discharge receive a bath to ensure they are clean, brushed and looking their best for your pick up.

We look forward to meeting you and your pet(s).
